The Dragon Bell Run

Whoosh! Luca and Ethan zipped from the snowy chalet ramp as Tales and Scales bounced in their dragon packs.

On the snow, a glowing map curled into the shape of a dragon. “The Dragon Bell trail!” Ethan cried.

At the very top, the Dragon Bell winked gold. If they rang it by sunset, the snowflake parade would find it's way home.

Then a mountain wind twirled through the pines and snatched the trail’s silver ribbon right off the map!

“I can catch it!” Luca shouted, leaning forward. Ethan held up one hand. “Wait—let’s stay together.”

Together, they carved soft turns through powder. Dragon paw-print sparkles twinkled behind every swoosh.

A marmot popped up beside the trail, hugging a snowball wrapped in the missing silver ribbon.

Luca zoomed too fast—poof! He landed in a fluffy snow pillow with only giggles shaken loose.

Ethan helped him up. Tales brushed snow from Luca’s curls, and Scales gave the coziest dragon hug.

“Maybe super dope also means super careful,” Luca said. They drew a new plan in the snow.

The silver ribbon led into a blue ice cave, where crystals hummed like tiny bells.

Tales spotted the ribbon snagged on an icicle, and Scales pointed with one plush paw.

Back outside, fog rolled over the trail. The bell disappeared inside a cloud of snowy gray.

Luca squeezed his mittens. “What if I mess it up again?” Ethan smiled. “Then we fix it together.”

So they followed the dragons’ wingbeats: slow turn, friend turn, brave turn, bright turn.

The fog opened like curtains. There stood the summit station—and the Dragon Bell shining above it!

A tiny crack crossed the snow bridge. This time Luca stopped first. “Team plan,” he whispered.

Luca and Ethan rang the Dragon Bell together. Bong! Gold and silver snowflakes burst into the sky.

Down the mountain, the snowflake parade sparkled safely past chalets, goats, marmots, and cheering neighbors.

At sunset, the friends sipped cocoa by the chalet. Luca smiled. “Best run ever—because we ran it together.”
